It is the parents’ responsibility to provide a safe and secure environment for themselves and for their children.  Safety can be compromised for a number of reasons.

  • Outside influences – war, terrorism, unsafe neighborhoods, vicious animals
perpetrators such as those who would molest children or burglarize.

  • Inside the home – Lack of adult supervision, bullying, physical abuse unsafe equipment, hazardous materials, available drugs.
