Video Games, Movies And The Internet
Toddlers to Pre-Teens

The difference between entertainment now and 30 years ago is that so much of it today requires no initiative or physical activity.  The Internet contains porn sights, exposing kids to age inappropriate visuals and information.  The Internet also offers chat rooms where kids can get hooked into giving out personal information.  This becomes a safety issue.   Movies and video games these days are not cool unless they contain graphic violence.   When their brains are constantly bombarded with this kind of content, violence becomes the norm, and kids senses are often dulled to its real life effects.

This topic deals with finding healthy alternatives to the above forms of entertainment including fun physical activities that stimulate kids to think and act positively.
